Congratulations to our annual Christmas lights/decoration contest
winners. Thanks to all our homeowners for making RWE so festive
during the holidays. We hope you enjoyed the holiday lighting display

Estates during the holidays. All three winners received a check for

The trustees are continually monitoring the Riverwood Estates
community and noted that the following violations are very common,
and have generated letters to residents who do not comply with these
by-laws.
LISTED BELOW ARE VIOLATIONS THAT ARE MONITORED:
Overnight street parking – This rule is in effect seven days a week
and holidays. (This one violation can increase crime in our homes and
streets)
Common ground and cul de sacs are not for personal usage. They are
maintained and owned by the RWE Homeowners Association and are
considered common property not personal property. The Homeowners
Association is responsible for all liabilities on the common ground
and cul de sacs and all activity is to be approved by the Board of
Trustees. In addition, the trash company and postal carrier have
difficulty in their services when vehicles are parked in the cul de
sac and street. The dumping of trash, vegetation and other items on
common ground or cul de sacs is prohibited. If you witness any
violations or illegal use of these common grounds, please report to a
trustee for disposition.
Animals barking for long periods of time or running loose are in
violation of Hazelwood and RWE by laws. Respect your neighbors.
Grass/lawn/landscaping is to be maintained on a regular schedule.
Please do not leave your grass clipping on our streets and sidewalks
after mowing your lawn. Please clean up street and sidewalk. This is
very unsightly and again respect your neighbors.
Portable basketball goals are exactly as stated – portable. They are
not permanent structures (which need approval from Design and Review)
they are to be stored out of sight when not used for an extended
period. We receive many calls from homeowners about these structures
being in driveways all year round.
Satellite dishes are to be placed out of view of our streets. Outside
antennas are not allowed.
Trash receptacles are to be stored out of sight and not placed in the
open portion of your lot. Trash receptacles are not to be seen from
the street.
REMEMBER THE HOLIDAY TRASH PICKUP SCHEDULE. DO NOT PUT OUT EARLY.
This meeting is a good opportunity to meet your trustees and
understand how your RWE Homeowner Association protects your property
values and interests.
Remember, the 2008 annual assessments are due by January 31st 2008.
If dues are not current, resident will have no consideration for
Design and Review approval or participating in the Christmas
light/decoration contest. If dues are not paid within a six-month
period liens are placed on property with additional fees and
interest.
Please consider the opportunity to become a trustee or assisting on a
committee. We welcome your input WE HOPE TO SEE YOU AT THE MEETING.
We wish a happy and healthy new year to all of our homeowners.
