Riverwood Estates the Crown Jewel of North County!

Riverwood Estates feature 462 homes, located in the city of Hazelwood, MO, is a community of executive homes. Building began in 1982 and was completed in 2002. Riverwood Estates is a sweeping development of 462 single family home sites situated between the former St. Stanislaus Seminary on Howdershell Rd and the rugged bluffs overlooking the Missouri River.

The heritage of the St. Stanislaus Vineyards, which supplied much of the United States during the 19th and early 20th centuries, is preserved in the wine theme of Riverwood Estates. Restoration of the seminary’s prayer grotto and preservation of several natural park areas were an integral part of the master plan for this executive home development.

We are governed by a board of three trustees, elected yearly with a three-year term each. Annual assessments are used to maintain common ground and support all financial requirements. Riverwood Estates remains one of the premier communities in the St. Louis Northwest County area.
